This paradise, the Carteret Islands, a tiny South-Pacific atoll near Papua New Guinea was the first to be swallowed by the sea. The islanders were evacuated to Bougainville, a bigger island ravaged by civil war and high crime rates. By @sl007@digitalcourage.social.
