Will the Healthcare Funded Democrats really implement CalCare?
On Tuesday, January 11th, the Sacramento Assembly Health Committee approved the single-payer Guaranteed Health Care for All Act (CalCare), AB 1400. Will it become law? Democrats have the 2/3 super majority needed to pass the required constitutional amendment quickly, but do they have the will to do it? Or is it all just a publicity and fund raising stunt?
